Lodging Peace, serenity, quiet. A place to be undisturbed for study, reflection or simply to relax. Enjoy complete privacy in our single bedroom suite featuring a spacious full service kitchen, dining area and open living room with fireplace gas stove. A large outside deck provides a place for complete or partial sun as well as an area for dining. Our pond is available for swimming or skating. Our network of trails on the farm join additional trails and exquisite views from the Olana State Historic Site. The atmosphere inside allows ample room to relax and make yourself at home. Our lodgings are in keeping with our life style. We recycle everything, for that reason you will find many antiques both in your suite and in other areas of the farm. There is no microwave oven since we know they break down valuable nutrients in foods. A full-service kitchen is available for your cooking needs. Hearty, healthy lunches are available during the weekdays prepared from scratch by our farm chef. Lunch is our big meal of the day and available for you to share. We use organic vegetables from our own gardens when available. Eggs are collected daily from our free range chickens, fresh milk and byproducts from our Dutch Belted cows are available at our farm store which is also supplied with FDA approved meats. Our voluminous library includes books on spiritual science, anthroposophy, natural science, esoteric nature, biodynamic and organic farming along with fiction, phenomenology, mythology, metaphysics, politics, biographies, and many hard to find books. Research may be accomplished using our computerized library system; our resources include books in several languages from around the world. In our "chat room" we sit and discuss our ongoing studies and research. Professionals are frequently on hand for sharing and discussions. Testimonials...
